This is my last post on the topic of social media. Past posts were “Blogs, Twitter, Podcasts, and Animation” and “More on Social Media.”
How Much Time Does It Take To Do Social Media? (The question from the blog post of the same title and highlighted on Twitter by JHenning.) My answer: “More time than I have.”
How much time should you spend? Enough to read the industrial automation blogs . Twitter might be of some value if you are following a particular event and if the participants and/or attendees are using it.
If you are an automation supplier, I suggest you start blogging at a minimum, lest your customers start without you.
