I tried, but did not quite succeed, in getting to the booths of all the PI North America members at the show.
The Siemens booth engulfed one hall all by themselves. Here’s an overview:
HMS was showing the Anybus Wireless Bolt which uses WiFi and Bluetooth to wirelessly connect devices in cabinets to Wireless Access Points. Not specific to PROFINET, but interesting anyway. Definitely PROFINET was the PCIe Mini card for PROFINET IRT Fiber Optic.

Molex was showing their new PROFINET IO-Link modules and their redesigned PCI Express card, built around the Innovasic chip.
Turck was showing their IO-Link masters with PROFINET connectivity.
Phoenix Contact were showing their mGuard security appliances.
PROCENTEC provided an advanced look at a PROFINET diagnostic tool they will likely release at Hannover Fair. They were also running a PROFI Quiz with a great first prize.
