Ramping Up to over 100

We are frantically getting ready for the 2009 one-day training class season which starts March 11.  The presentations and demonstrations are nearly ready to go.  We have new equipment for the multi-vendor PROFIBUS demo.  And the PROFIBUS course material has been rearranged to reflect real-world plant projects.  These will be seen for the first time in Columbus, OH and Greenville, SC.  (Click the city for more information and a link to registration.)

For PROFINET we’ve reduced the time spent reviewing Industrial Ethernet.  We are counting on increased attendee knowledge on this topic, perhaps from the archived Industrial Ethernet Basics webinars.  PROFINET’s increasing coverage of application areas means we’ll spend a little more time on new developments.

Our first PROFINET one-day training class is March 11 in Detroit and we have already exceeded 100 registrations.  If you are in the Detroit area, please register soon as we may have to close registration if we reach the size limit of the facility.  Class details here.

PROFINET Developer Workshop in Detroit.  Due to user demand, we have added a PROFINET Developer Workshop on the morning following the one-day training class.  This is for manufacturers of automation equipment who need to add Industrial Ethernet to their products.  This may be the only workshop we have this year so it’s worth traveling to Detroit for the class and workshop!

I hope to see you on the road.  Interaction with you always sparks blog posts.
