We just completed two webinars in two days. (Note to self: don’t schedule that way again!)
Today’s webinar was a condensed version of our Industrial Ethernet Basics series. We originally did that series so students coming to our PROFINET one-day training class would be prepared without our spending 3 hours on the basics that we should have been spending on PROFINET in the class. We eventually realized that asking folks to view 3 hours of webinars might be a little much. So, we condensed them into one hour. If you are coming to one of our PROFINET one-day training classes and are not familiar with Ethernet, please view this new webinar “A Short Introduction to Ethernet for Control Engineers.” Of course, you can view it even if you’re not coming to a class, too.
We had good reviews for the webinar, including: “The right amount of information for the time period. Very good seminar.”
Yesterday’s webinar was the first in a series of webinars for manufacturers of automation devices that want to add PROFINET to their products: “PROFINET Development Kits from PROFI Interface Center.” We actually prefaced this series with an overview of the development process: “The Rapid Way to PROFINET.” Watch for additional developer tools in future webinars.
