This commissioning guideline is available for members and non-members from the PI Website, together with checklists for individual adaptation. Guidelines for cabling and assembly are also available. They describe how to properly install and commission PROFINET wiring and provide practical guidance on the best ways to achieve this. The presentation has been kept as simple as possible. Background knowledge about PROFINET mounting and cabling is not required although, a basic technical knowledge of electrical installation is assumed. The PROFINET Commissioning Guideline is available together with a separate Word file, which provides protocols and checklists for individual adaptations. Download it here.
