Description:

PROFINET is a standard, unmodified Ethernet protocol designed to support the latest automation strategies. One network for I/O, process instruments, motion controllers, and functional safety. It even preserves your existing investment in legacy fieldbuses by integrating them. This no-cost class prepares the student to apply PROFINET in their own project. Lunch is included. Technical details of the technology are provided along with practical demonstrations.  The class is designed for:

  • End Users
  • OEMs
  • System Integrators
  • Manufacturers of automation devices

All students receive a training manual that includes a hard copy of presentations plus reference material containing the slides and network design, installation, commissioning, and security guide manuals. System Descriptions, brochures, and other documentation are also included.

Each student will receive a certificate for 5.5 Professional Development Hours (PDH).

Exhibits by device manufacturers are available during breaks.
